Downtown Lounge

Ahhhhh, there’s nothing like walking in the cold windy night to take photos of the downtown architecture. I don’t know how many times I have shot these photos here in beautiful down town Fort Worth, but I would say it can get a little redundant like photos of the ex girlfriends you have packed away in the shoe box. It’s all about the experience I suppose. Sometimes you have to go back to the same spots you have photographed, just to see what you can do differently. In this case, I had my handy Sony A7S Mark II with me, so I was very interested in how great the 28mm handled.

You have to understand, I typically prefer to shoot with Nikon, but tonight was a night for adventure, and so I had to see how the Sony held up. I have to say, I only got the A7S II for video purposes because I wasn’t really impressed with the photo quality, but it is starting to grow on me. It’s nice to have a camera with a small form factor, and does it ever make for great mobility.

Here are some of the shots from the outing, and I can say that the camera does very well in the cold darkness of the night!
