Prismatic Beauty Part II

Posted by Mr. Robot | January 3rd, 2017 | No responses

We are ringing in the new year with a new mentality. We need to get more done, and we need to get more done! Of course doing things with high quality takes time, but again, we need to get more done! I myself am an artist, and artists do tend to procrastinate at times. Well, I believe for 2017, the photography game needs to keep progressing with fresh new images.

Now, to move towards the future, sometimes we have to visit the past. So in good faith to get things done, we visit with Heather Lehman once more to bring in the closing chapter to Prismatic Beauty. No stranger to photography, Heather is a tough model with the will to endure the spotlight.

I never really want to do any kind of pin up shots. I don’t have any of that in my portfolio. No offense to photographers who love that stuff, but it isn’t for me. Heather likes to sneak things in to the shoot that she feels makes her image pop. How about them polkadots?

Green hair, and an I don’t care attitude, we go to a small little area of Fort Worth to shoot some fashion. There is nothing like a little contrast to make those greens pop. This was several months ago, but I am pretty sure everything in this picture has fallen to dark grays because of the winter. All with the exception of Heather, because I am sure she just keeps warm with a nice cozy blanket.

Things get a little interesting when you start seeing shapes in the clouds. I don’t know if you see what I see, but if you let your imagination just run wild, you can start seeing things. Or perhaps its one of those acid flashbacks the doctors have been warning me about. Who knows, but all the same, the clouds in the background look fantastic.

Heather is a tattooed beauty, and she has pasty skin, so you need to be careful when you light her, because she can turn out to be too ghostly if you don’t. Now I could have punched up those tats to make them more vibrant, but that in my opinion is not the focus to these particular shots. It’s the clouds man! The clouds!
