Santa Fe is one of those small places that you have to visit because of the history behind it. I arrived one morning while visiting ABQ,  New Mexico, and went snooping around the town with my trusty DSLR on my side. First and foremost, it is a beautiful town, rich in culture, and filled with interesting people. There are some local merchants who don’t dig the photography, and they’ll let you know it by giving you the bird. If you can survive that, then it is pretty much non stop shopping in the whole area. Souvenirs are plentiful, and there’s a ton of street food to enjoy. I personally liked the elote they sold spiced up with chile.
