Prairie Creek Park, Richardson, Texas. We’ve been here before. We’re here again. This time during golden hour, and you can see how the atmosphere has changed. It’s about the time for…
Golden hour is in full effect here. The beauty of this hour and the short time you have to capture it is really something special. I look at these shots and I am extremely happy with the results. The timing is on our side as we walk from location to location and set up just in time to capture that pure golden aura.
One Light Setup:
Profoto B10 with Profoto 2′ Octa Softbox with grid. Giving our model a nice and focused soft light to create a beautiful separation between her and the brick wall.
As we make our way to the waterfall area the crowds dissipated. We had the place all to ourselves. What a fortuitous opportunity to take advantage of this picture perfect moment.
When we shot Serida’s senior photos here before in our last story, the time frame was a little in the afternoon. But no matter what time of the day you come out to Prairie Creek, you’re going to find plenty of photo ops even if one is crowded, chances are another area is available.
Two Light Setup:
Profoto B10 as the key light with a Profoto OCF 2′ Octa Softbox. Profoto A1 as a fill.
Another session makes for an incredible outcome. Prairie Creek Park is always on our list of favorite places to shoot photography. It’s beautiful waterfall, the variety of trees, a bridge overlooking the creek, and the brick wall are all solid examples of excellent backdrops.
We look forward to shooting here again. If you’re interested in your next photo session in this location, contact us for a consultation.
