My trusty Nikon D850 with a Nikkor 24/70mm Lens in Brooklyn, New York.
Stepping outside to a warm day in November reminds me of the unpredictability that is New York. On this day we had over 5,000 marathon runners being cheered on by Brooklyn locals. I was unaware, uninformed, and overdressed. Hats off to those who were. On my local stroll trying to find a way to cross 4th avenue to no success I did manage to capture some Brooklyn life taking place amongst the chaos.
Photo tip: You can cross during the marathon if you find an opening on a less busy area, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
Surviving the frogger like situation of crossing 4th avenue, I did put myself into some useful situation in helping Carolina, a captain of some decommissioned oil tanker in Red Hook to move a floating dock. I am just all over New York doing good deeds left and right. Of course as I set to familiarize myself with the area and call it a night, I then head over to the Brooklyn Bridge later that evening and snapped some beautiful photographs of little Bler.
Photo tip: Try not to photo flash too much near Jane’s Carousel. She (not sure if it is Jane herself) get’s upset.
