Let’s talk photography. Once upon a time when I wasn’t so busy working on user experience, I would post my photography results in this blog. Sometimes I fall behind and I forget that I am still a photographer. Photography is a major part of my life you know! I have no real excuse as to why I am so lax in the recent postings of my work. Life just happens. Enough is enough, it is about time I published this little photo session I did a couple of months back when the Texas heat wasn’t so fierce as it is now. The red series is sort of a small idea that started out by me trying to shoot something that was fairly simple to do. Subject, red outfit, cool location. Check, check, and check. I have been out of practice, so now that we are relocating to Plano, Texas, I expect there will be some incredible new locations to shoot at outdoors.

So what is everyone wearing for fashion these days? Something expensive? Something that says $500.00 for one accessory, $1000.00 dollars for a t-shirt, and perhaps $2000.00 for a pair of shoes that are made by some Italian designer who’s name I cannot pronounce? Nope. We went to H&M and got the sale items. This outfit, less than $30.00, but believe me, it was worth every penny.

Of course my beautiful daughter can bring any of these outfits to life. So we decided to go for the messy and I don’t care what my face or hair looks like look. So maybe it didn’t get brought to life in this case, but maybe I was going for the lack of life in the outfit and dreary mood the scene takes place in. Maybe this is why I haven’t been shooting as much lately. I grew bored of the Fort Worth locations, (while there are plenty of spots to photo capture), I just felt that it was time for a change. Consider this my last Fort Worth location for a long while. I hear Plano calling my name. I can’t wait to tell you about the countless amount of tolls, traffic, and trouble that I probably will get in to.
